Kyle’s Football Game

I managed to remember my camera for last Saturday’s football game!  No touchdowns by Kyle in this game, but he played really well.

I know a football player shouldn’t look this handsome before a game, but it was also picture day.  He thinks the “eye-black” makes him look like a tough guy.

During the game, he had one carry.  A small group of boys piled on top of him and he got up crying.  My heart stopped.  Of course I wanted to run on the field and hug him, but Dave wouldn’t let me.  He shook it off pretty quickly.  This is just flag football.  I don’t think I’m ready for him to get into tackle football.  I’m not sure how I’ll be able to watch!
