Kelsie... Christmas is OVER!

On any given night, around 7:00 pm, you will hear this BLASTING from Kelsie's bathroom...

(Justin Bieber - Under the Mistletoe CD)
She only plays three songs, over and over and over again. One of the songs is JB (ugh) and Mariah Carey (double ugh) and just about drives me nuts every time I hear it. I'm off to hide this CD until December. Sorry Biebs... this mama can't take it anymore!!!

This is why we have a Mini-Van...

This year, no different from last year, we weren't sure if all of the presents, suitcases and MUST have 50% off, day after Christmas purchases from Target would all fit in the van. We managed to pack it all in, not having to leave anything behind. The kids had little to no wiggle room, but hey, all of my ornaments for NEXT YEAR made it home. Talk to you next week... when we're done unloading.

Happy Holidays!

Hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did. Of course the kids got everything they wanted (and more!). We spent time with both families and shared lots of laughs.

The big news at Christmas was Katie asking Kelsie to be a Junior Bridesmaid in her wedding. Kelsie said "YES" and couldn't hold back the tears (the above picture was taken after Kelsie was asked. Not a great pic, but you get how emotional Kelsie was). I was shocked at her reaction, but she gets it honestly. It doesn't help that her Mama and Bammie are SUPER sensitive. Kelsie is taking her role very seriously - already skimming the pages of bridal magazines and scouring the Internet in search of the perfect dress for HERSELF! Who cares that she isn't supposed to look better than the bride. She is trying to sweet talk her Dad and I into letting her wear a strapless or one shoulder dress. I don't think her Daddy is ready for his baby to wear such a fancy dress. Quite frankly, I'm not ready either. She's growing into such a mature young lady. It'll be hard for me to see her walking down the aisle. Even if she's just the Junior Bridesmaid.
